I’ve been busy meeting new couples for 2015 + enjoying the last moments of summer, which are sadly kinda officially over. I’m really trying to hold on to the season as long as I can, because I’m just not ready for fall. Even though cozy boots + sweaters do sound like so much fun to switch up the wardrobe.

Oh, Alex + Kevin. At first, this couple opted out of me featuring their engagement + wedding on my blog. I was so sad, especially after hearing about all the fantastic details (how she loves color, striped bridesmaid’s dresses, hand-painted argyle bar …) and the list goes on and on! Even though this was the case, I still took on the wedding because I fell in love with them. So! I don’t know if: 1) I talked them into it … (by begging) 2) their friends + family talked them into it (also by begging) or 3) they wanted to see my favorites in a blog post. 😉 Either ways, I’m incredibly grateful and happy! My portfolio and blog is the only way to capture the hearts of other fun couples. So thank you, Alex + Kevin!

Kevin is my kind of guy. For their very first date, he flew the two of them to NYC to have sushi at one of his favorite spots in the Meatpacking District! Crazy, yes, you don’t have to read it again – they.flew.to.NYC.on.their.first.date! At that point in the conversation, he won my heart and apparently Alex’s too. So fast-forward three years and he takes her back to the exact same restaurant. Not to propose, just to eat. Theennnnn, in their hotel lobby, with bubbly in hand, he proposed. 🙂

Alex is a teacher and with the help of her Kindergarten class, they eagerly waved their ribbon sticks high with congratulatory excitement! I’m waving one right now too!
