Whheeeew! We made it through Spring wedding season and have opted for a little mid-Summer break before we dive back in this August! I’m full-on ready to put my feet up and get massages daily. 🙂
I’m beyond excited and proud of these images from this wedding! This couple is dy-no-mite! First of all Julie – she is a just the cutest little thing! We all know I’m pretty tall, so her dress came up to about my waist. 😉 Ohhhh and what non-Jewish sweetie pie-of-a-gal would join J-Date to find a beau? This one!! Jewish traditions are not only new to Julie, but us as well! It was our very first Jewish wedding. I’m almost embarrassed to admit that.
One thing all our couples seem to have in common, besides being adorable + sweet, is that they either met at a bar or online and they enjoy being active – like running and being outdoors. Greg proposed to Julie at the end of the St. Louis Reindeer Run. He ran hard to finish before her, while she stayed back with her cousin, who was attempting to get her to slow her pace so the proposal could be videoed at the finish.
This wedding was phenomenal. Kate & Company. designed and collaborated with the couple – and they picked some of my very favorite local vendors. Yay! I’m just a wee bit obsessed with the flowers (Tina Barrera, The Special Event Florist) + paper goods (Two Blue Doors)! Based on my favorite images below, you might notice. The ceremony was nestled in the Japanese Garden at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The reception, in Monsanto Hall, was capped off with Greg serenading Julie – he totally surprised her by singing Everything by Michael Bublé … melts my heart!
Mazel tov!
