Well, I officially know it’s October – I’m knee-deep in editing and it starts in the early AM and I don’t really finish until late into the evening. I’m also juggling emails, portrait + engagement sessions and bridal consults. My typical fall routine. What have you been up to? 🙂

Laura is the type of girl that when she is really happy, she squeezes her fists together at her sides, squeals and jumps up + down with total excitement! With the debut of these wedding photos at Chaumette Winery, I’m 99% sure she is probably doing that same exact dance! We’ve been pretty lucky this year! With all this rain here in St. Louis, it really hasn’t brought any of our outdoor weddings to plan B like so many last year. The day started overcast + questionable, but we ended up having a beautiful hot summer day ceremony outside. Guests were able to enjoy the amazing view and later sip on wine and mingle inside a tiny little barn which held the intimate reception.

Mike proposed on a surprise trip to Napa, so what better place for nuptials in the Midwest than a winery. 🙂 I fell in love with all the portraits, and I might have gone a little overboard showing so many with this post! (I couldn’t help myself.) I think I took about 30 images of her sleeve alone. I love that dress! Those lace sleeves are so sexy + beautiful, just like the couple.
