I was thinking ’bout her, thinking ’bout me, thinking ’bout us, what we gonna be, Open my eyes, yeah, it was only just a dreeeeaaaaammmm. Thank Goodness this wedding was not just a dream! 🙂 Oooooooooohhhhhh thiiiiiissssssss weddddddinnggggggg!

Lisa and Jeff are beyond the sweetest + sincerest people I have ever met. These two together are pure happiness. I didn’t know how Lisa would hold up on the big day, considering during their engagement session she let out a few happy tears. 🙂 Her smile is so infectious that it makes me grin ear to ear just looking at these photos! I love seeing a couple be so gracious and thank so many people on their big day! The couple gave a special toast to their family and friends during the reception and they even thought to thank the incredible planner, Kristin Weis with Kristin Ashley Events. It’s really no surprise, because uhhhh it was pretty AMAZING! I’m sure you’ll agree that this couple + Kristin really out did themselves on this one! One perfect event for this perfect couple and their guests.

This was completely a one-of-a-kind wedding jammed packed with gorgeously glamorous details and some very talented wedding vendors. The ceremony took place at the awe-inspiring Cathedral Basilica with a reception following at the Four Seasons in downtown St. Louis. After the ceremony, I caught them smiling and canoodling in the garden just outside of the church. I loved that they took a moment to walk away from all their guests to enjoy each other’s company, even if only for a few moments. At the Four Seasons the guests were able to grab a glass of champagne and mingle on the terrace, little did they know what was waiting for them behind closed doors. The Four Seasons is top-notch! One of my favorite things about their amazing service level is that a staff member is always ready with a tray of champagne flutes when toasts are being given to ensure that no one is without a glass. Too many other times I’ve seen a “toaster” give a speech and then they find themselves empty-handed. Not here! 🙂

If you ever loved somebody put yur hands up! If you ever loved somebody put yur hands up! Oh! I’m sure some of you have figured out all my silly references are lyrics from St. Louis’ very own, Nelly!! The groom + Nelly just happen to be friends – lucky for all of us. 🙂 So this sweet groom wanted to surprise his bride with a special guest at the reception! Nelly quietly arrived and secretly coordinated the impromptu performance with the oh-so-awesome wedding band, The Larry King Orchestra, while the band’s DJ entertained the crowd on the dance floor. Nelly came out and graciously performed a 30+ minute “wedding concert” and we all had VIP front row tickets!! In between songs, he even offered some eloquent words on love + relationships. It was really so incredible and so much fun – I will never forget this day! I think I was even more thrilled to watch the guests and the sweet gal from Florida standing next to me. She was going craaaaaazy for him. ha ha! So I thought it was only appropriate to show photos of me and Nelly too! If only I had a $1 for every time someone asked me for photos right after this wedding. Side note to all vendors (including my husband): we only share images after the couple has the photos in hand. 🙂 Nelly even asked if we would take a photo with him and the happy couple. Of course I started to talk with a mumble and I got the hives I was so nervous! Nelly even wanted one with me, okay, I think I did ask (I had almost blacked out at that point), but really I don’t think I even needed to ask, this guy is that nice. A lot nicer than when I met and asked Ryan Gosling for his photo at a restaurant in Austin – he wouldn’t take one with me! I’m thinking it’s only because TMZ might have reported that he had a new girlfriend. 😉
