Hiya! We’ve been M.I.A., but I have the perfect excuse! Ryan and I celebrated our anniversary in Bora Bora this year! (Promise to post photos soon!) We love to take an end-of-the-year trip around our anniversary to celebrate, but it also happens to land in my busiest editing season. I have been plugging away to get all these sweet sessions to all my wonderful families before Thanksgiving.

Stella Rae is someone very special! She is the sweet new baby of one of our wedding couples, Ellen + Jake! This was the first time I offered up our spare bedroom as studio space because the weather was completely gloomy, rainy and on the chilly side. Since this family of three now lives on our same street (yay!), I invited them over to give it a whirl. It was so perfect. We had the heat blastin’ – we were all sweating and baby Stella loved the comfort of it being so warm. Two nice windows and an open white room really made it brighter than what it really seemed, and made this session perfect.

It’s really so amazing to see our couples fall in love with such a sweet little miracle. Last time I saw Jake he was adoring + lovin’ on Ellen. Now, seeing him hold and interact with baby Stella totally pulled at my heart strings.
